Camp Williams to 90S

Project overview

The energy needs of our new and existing customers are growing steadily. Because demand for electricity is increasing beyond what our current system can reliably serve, new transmission lines and substations are needed to provide additional capacity.

We plan to construct a new double-circuit 345,000-volt transmission line to stretch 11 miles from the existingCamp Williams substation in Herriman to the 90th South substation in West Jordan. The new transmission line will run parallel to an existing 345,000-volt line. This investment in our system will benefit customers by improving reliability now and providing flexibility for the future.
