Bringing new transmission to the West

PacifiCorp has launched Energy Gateway -- an ambitious transmission expansion program that will add more than 1,700 miles of new transmission lines across the West. The plan was announced in May 2007 , and siting and permitting processes now are underway for many segments of the planned expansion. Segments of the expansion are listed below with planned in-service dates. Each are linked to project documents - which we will update as new information develops. The map shows the segment additions to the transmission system when the expansion is completed.
